The activation is scheduled for DAA score 474,165,565, expected around June 30, 2026 at 16:15 UTC, and the announcement told node operators, miners, pools, exchanges, indexers, wallets, and infrastructure providers to upgrade before activation. The announcement framed Toccata as a major L1 expansion: native covenant support through transaction introspection, covenant IDs for continuity across UTXO transitions, L1 ZK proof verification through OpZkPrecompile, and partitioned sequencing commitments for based ZK applications. [4]
