Toccata Lands In Rusty Kaspa

Thursday, June 11, 2026

The biggest line in the channel was also the simplest. After Michael Sutton marked Rusty Kaspa PR #1000 ready for merge, coderofstuff posted: "TOCCATA IS MERGED!!!" (source) (source) (PR #1000)

The remaining spec work narrowed immediately around KIP-17, KIP-24, and KIP-25. IzioDev listed those as the KIPs still needing review and merge, Sutton said "kip17 is good to go imo", and coderofstuff approved and merged it. Sutton then laid out the release path: publish a mainnet v1.3.0 pre-release without activation for one or two days of broader sanity testing, then publish v2.0.0 with planned activation on June 30. (source)
